A signed list of four paintings, all derived from Goethe; no contemporary date, later dated 1828. The list includes: Faust and Margarethe, Garden scena; Hackelnberg the Huntsman, with an extract from Goethe's Walpurgisnacht; Two students watching the clock of eternity; A sketch from the Bohemian legend of the Twelve sleeping virgins.
